- Deselect All Numbers

then click OK.

Filtering
You can filter a full wheel or filter lines in P34
Lotto.
Filter A Full Wheel
A Full wheel consists of all possible lines that can
be generated from selected numbers.
For example, in a pick-3 lottery, if we select 2 numbers on each
position, a full wheel will have 2*2*2=8 lines.
Numbers:
Position 1: 4, 5; Position 2: 1, 9; Position 3: 2,
3
Full wheel:
4-1-2
4-1-3
4-9-2
4-9-3
5-1-2
5-1-3
5-9-2
5-9-3
Now, we can filter these lines.
For example, if we want only lines with 2 even and 1 odd number,
we would select filter Even-Odd 2-1.
Now, choose the Filter Full Wheel from
the Play menu (or press F5)
and only 2 lines will pass:
4-1-2
4-9-2
We can combine more filters. If we want only lines with 2 even and
1 odd number, or 1 even and 2 odd numbers we would select filter
Even-Odd 2-1 and Even-Odd 1-2. Now, 6 lines pass:
4-1-2
4-1-3
4-9-2
4-9-3
5-1-2
5-9-2
Filter Lines
|
Instead of filtering a full wheel, you can also filter lines.
You can see lines in the Lines panel.
What is the use of filtering lines? Well, you can get lines
by filtering, but you can also add lines manually, or import
lines. For example, if you generate some wheel or set of lines
manually or in some other program, you can import those lines
into P34 Lotto and filter them.
For filtering lines, select Filter Lines from the Play menu
(or press F8)
.
|
 |
Note: if there are not any lines
in Lines panel, the option Filter Lines is disabled.
Filters
Even-Odd
The Even-Odd filter determines how many even and odd
numbers can be in one line.
For example, if you choose Even-Odd 3-1 filter, every generated
line will have exactly 3 even and 1 odd number (regardless of position).
Low-High
The Range of numbers (0-9) are divided into two groups:
Low are all numbers from 0 to 4, and High are all numbers from 5-9.
The Low-High filter determines how many low and high numbers will
be in line.
For example, if you choose Low-High 2-2 filter, every line will
have exactly 2 low and 2 high numbers (regardless of position).
Sum of Numbers
If we add all numbers in one line, we get the Sum
of the numbers.
For example, the Sum of Numbers for line: 3-7-2 is 12.
The Sum of Numbers determines in what range sum of numbers the lines
can be.
For example, if we select filter Sum of Numbers 14-17, the sum of
numbers in every generated line will be between 14 and 17 (including
14 and 17).
Width of Line
The Width of Line is the difference between the highest
and lowest number in the line.
In line: 2-3-0-8, The Width of line is 8 (8-0).
If we choose filter Width of Line 4-5, every generated line will
have a difference between the highest and lowest number 4 or 5 (like
lines: 1-1-5; 3-2-8; 8-3-5-6; 4-5-6-8;).
Identical
Filter identical determines how many identical numbers
can be in one line.
In line 1-1-1-8 we have 3 identical number (1);
Filter Identical is Position sensitive. The same letter means same
number.
For example, if we choose filter Identical A-B-B-C, every line will
have the same numbers on position 2 and 3 (like lines: 1-9-9-2;
4-5-5-3...).
Even-Odd by Position
Filter Even-Odd by Position determines which number
on each position will be even or odd.
For example, if we choose filter Even-Odd by Position E-E-O-E, the
numbers on position 1,2 and 4 will be even and the number on position
3 will be odd (like: 2-4-5-4; 6-8-3-0).
Low-High by Position
Filter Low-High by Position determines which number
on each position will be low or high.
For example, if we choose filter Low-High by Position H-L-H-L, the
numbers on position 1 and 3 will be high,
and the numbers on position 2 and 4 will be low
(like 7-2-8-1; 5-4-5-4; 9-4-8-3).
Last Draw by Position
Filter Last Draw by Position determines how many of
the same numbers on the same position will be compared to the last
draw.
For example, if the last draw is 5-3-6-8; line 5-6-8-0 will have
One same number (number 5 on position
1).
Past Draws
Filter Past Draws is divided into 3 filters: Pairs,
Boxed, Draw.
Filter Pairs determines from how many previous draws, there cannot
be the same pairs (by position).
If we set filter Past Draws / Pairs on 10, none of filtered lines
will have the exact pair as any of last 10 draws.
Filter Boxed determines from how many previous draws we will not
play boxed lines. For example, if we set filter past Draws / Boxed
on 10, none of filtered lines will be boxed with any of last draws.
Filter Draw determine from how many previous draws we will not play
same line.
Intervals
Intervals: A sample of the filter's
recent history of skips and hits.
Blue numbers are hits. Red numbers are skips between
hits.
Intervals 1
1 3
1 1
1 2 3
4 1
tells us (1R) there has been one draw since the last time this filter
hit (1B), then working back through the history the filter skipped
two draws (2R) and had two back to back hits (2B). As we continue
looking back we find the filter skipped 4 draws (4R) after 2 back
to back hits (2B) and before that 2 skips (2R) and 2 backs to back
hits (2B) and at the end one of skip (1R) and hit (1B).
Optimizing
Optimizing lines means selecting some lines from the
total set of lines.
Why optimizing? Well, nobody has an unlimited budget for playing
lotto. By optimizing, we play less lines (less money) while still
keeping some guarantee.
For example, after filtering we get 100 lines and it's too much
for us to play. We can optimize that set of lines and keep the guarantee
that we get at least a boxed or pair match, if our start set of
lines hits straight. Of course, we can hit straight too.
How to optimize?
Select Optimize from the Play menu (or
press F6).
Note: Menu Optimize is disabled if there aren't no any generated
lines.

Window Optimize will open. Select optimizing method
(boxed, pair, front pair, back pair, side pair). Click Optimize.

In this example, from a set of 144 lines, we get 6
optimized lines.
If you are satisfied with the result, click OK. Window
Optimize will close, and optimized lines will appear in the Lines
window.
If you are not satisfied with the result, try another
optimization, or click button Cancel for closing the Optimize window.
